Compher Full ride
scholarship at University of Michigan
JT Compher (Team
Illinois Midget Minors) has accepted a full ride scholarship to the
University of Michigan. JT began climbing the
hockey ladder at age 5 with the Northbrook Bluehawks AA program,
shouldering the team to back-to-back state championships. In '08, they
reached the national Pee Wee AA quarterfinals, in Hackensack, N.J., with
JT scoring Northbrook's lone goal in the elimination game. After that
season, he came to Team Illinois. JT both on the ice and off the
ice showed strong leadership roles, we are excited to watch his
continued growth and success. Congratulations JT.
TI 2000's
