Team Illinois has earned a reputation for the past 25 years as one of the premier AAA hockey organizations in the United States. More Players have been placed in junior hockey, the NTDP Program, and NCAA Division I and Division III Programs than any other AAA organization in Illinois. The Team Illinois Spring Program focuses on utilizing the VERY BEST instructors to ensure that all players have fun and that all players maximize their player development with the very best training available anywhere! We invite young aspiring players to join Team Illinois and our incredible training staff this spring.

18 Forwards , 12 Defensemen, and 4 Goalies will be selected at each level

1 – 70 minute skill session per week focusing on stick handling, passing & pass receiving skills, shooting techniques, and skating fundamental techniques

1 – 70 minute session per week focusing on positional play utilizing scrimmage and small game techniques

Up to 2 spring tournaments (Team Illinois will host a spring showcase May 9-11 for the Bantam levels.
95-94; Most MWEHL teams as well as other well respected AAA clubs will participate in this spring showcase)
If selected for a tournament team there will be an additional cost.

Team Illinois Midget Spring/Summer Highlights! |
- Spring/Summer Director: Jim Marchi
- Instructors: Steve Shulman, Jon Hull, and Jeff Jones
- 1-70 minute skill session each week focusing on the following;
- Puck handling
- Shooting techniques
- Passing & pass receiving skills
- Skating technique for crossovers, edge work, quickness, and power
- 1-45 minute off ice training session focusing on Strength & Quickness training as awell as core and leg strength training
- 1-70 minute game each week against one of the other TI midget spring teams
- 1-2 Spring showcases/ Tournaments. TI will be hosting a MWEHL showcase from May 9-11. If chosen for the showcase/ Tournament additional fees apply
- Guest Division I College Instructors:
- Jeff Blashill - Miami Of Ohio University
- Joe Bonnett - Colorado College
- Tom Newton - Michigan State University
- Mike Kemp - University Of Nebraska Omaha
- Top Division I program coaches on the ice teaching skills and positional play for all players as well as holding an off ice discussion with the players on what it takes to become a Division I player.
